AULI HIMALAYAS TREK CAMPING

Auli : One of the best ski slope (in winter) in Asia. Also known as a skier’s paradise, Auli has one of the best slopes in the world. The 3km long slope ranges from 2519 m to 3049 m offers a magnificent panoramic view of great Himalayan peaks like the Nanda Devi (7817m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m) and Dunagiri (7066m). You could reach Auli from Joshimath (1890m) by taking an enchanting 3 km ride on the world’s most highly situated and longest ropeway (cable car). This holiday spot is a delight for winter sports enthusiasts. Adventure Sports in the Indian outdoors, bring out a great sense of challenge and excitement. From January to March, the Auli slopes are usually covered with a thick carpet of snow, about 3m deep.The stretch of 3-kms with a drop in elevation of 500m is considered to be a very good skiing ground by international standard.
In summer Auli is one of the best hill resort in Indian Himalayas, a number of visters , visit this spot in summer.Now its become idle holidays resort in India. This green grassy meadow blooms the flowers during spring / monsoon

Tentative Trek Program for Auli –> Hiking Trekking Camping Auli Day 1 : Rishikesh – Joshimath : Drive 8 / 9 hrs. Today Morning after Breakfast drive to Joshimath. The entire drive is along the Alaknanda river till we reach Joshimath. Enroute stop at Devprayag,Rudraprayag, Karanprayag and Nandaprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Arrive Joshimath and transfer to Hotel. Dinner & Over night hotel.

Day 2 : Joshimath – Auli – Gorson Bughyal : Drive 2 hrs ; trek 3/4 hrs. Auli the larger slopes of Uttaranchal covered with seasonal snow become an ideal place for skiing in the winter months. In summer it is most destination of trekkers and hikers. Every year in months of may to till October end a number of visiter come to explore this region, this region is covered with lush green grass and after finishing monsoon rains the flowers are blooming with sweet air. After crossing Auli , our entire trek leads forward through excellent meadows and thick forests of oak, and fir (cedar) , with extraoradinary views of Mt.Nanda Devi in different moods.

Day 3 : Day reserve for sight seeing in and around Gorson Bughyal : Bughyal means large high altitude meadows where shepherds come in summer with their herd to live with their family. Explore the exclusive sun sets and sun rise of Himalayan panoramic peaks Mt.Nanda Devi Peak , Mt. Kamet, Mt.Mana, Mt. Abhigamin , Mt. Neelkantha, Mt.Dunagiri , Mt. Hathi etc make the moment memorable.

Day 4 : Gorson : Rishikesh : Trek 2 hrs : Drive 9 / 10 hrs. O / N – Hotel / Camp. We trace our step back to Auli where our coach / jeep will be waiting for us. Drive 9 / 10 hrs to Rishikesh.
